I'm Doing Everything "Right"… So Why Do I Still Feel Stuck?
You ever feel like you're checking every box — eating clean, drinking water, exercising, cutting back sugar — and still nothing’s working? You're tired, bloated, your skin's acting up, and for whatever reason… your body just won’t budge. I’ve been there. Honestly, I lived there for a while. And no one — not a doctor, not a trainer — ever told me it could be my liver.
The Organ Nobody Talks About (But Should)
Your liver is a total powerhouse. It’s basically your body’s internal filter — processing everything you eat, drink, breathe, and even put on your skin. It helps metabolize fat, regulate blood sugar, process hormones, and detox anything your body doesn’t need. But when it gets overloaded? Things slow down. A lot. And here’s the thing most people don’t realize: your liver can be overworked without you even knowing it — especially if you’re dealing with inflammation, blood sugar swings, hormone issues, or stress (hi, all of us).
5 Signs Your Liver Might Be Asking for Help
Here’s what showed up for me — and what I now help so many other women spot early:
You’re always tired.
Even with 8 hours of sleep, you wake up feeling like you’ve barely rested.Stubborn belly fat.
You're eating well and moving your body, but your midsection just won’t budge.Hormonal chaos.
PMS, mood swings, irregular cycles — all can be tied back to how well your liver is processing estrogen.Breakouts or dull skin.
When your liver can’t keep up, your skin takes over — and it’s not shy about showing it.Doing “everything right”... but still getting nowhere.
This one’s the most frustrating. And the most common.
What I Wish More Women Knew
You don’t need a fancy juice cleanse or some extreme detox to support your liver. (Please don’t go spend $300 on a “liver reset.” That’s not what this is about.) Your body already knows how to detox — you just have to support it.
My Go-To Daily Liver Love Habits
These are simple, affordable things I do (and teach) that make a big difference:
🧂 Minerals in your water — I add a pinch of Baja Gold sea salt to my water in the morning for trace minerals your liver loves.
🍋 Lemon water first thing — gentle, alkalizing, and helps stimulate bile production to support digestion and detox.
🥦 Cruciferous veggies daily — broccoli, kale, arugula, cauliflower — these are your liver’s besties.
🚶♀️ Gentle movement that gets you sweating — walking, stretching, rebounding. Nothing fancy, just consistent.
😴 Deep, uninterrupted sleep — your liver does a lot of its cleanup work at night. Skimping on sleep = slower detox = feeling meh.
But What About Blood Work?
Here’s the thing — your liver can still be under stress even if your labs look “normal.” That’s why listening to your body is just as important as looking at numbers. Fatigue, bloating, breakouts, mood swings… they’re not random. They’re your body talking to you.
You’re Not Broken. You’re Just Being Asked to Pay Attention.
When I started giving my liver a little more love, the shift was wild.
✨ My energy came back
✨ My belly felt flatter and less puffy
✨ My mood leveled out
✨ My skin cleared
✨ And progress finally started showing up again
So if you’re stuck, tired, and feeling like something's off even though you’re putting in the work — this might be your missing piece too.
You’re not broken. You’re just being called to slow down and support your body a little differently.
